How to save your Memoji as an image file

Today I got the idea to use my Memoji for Facebook, my website and Co. But how do you get your Memoji as an image file without having to take a screenshot of it?

I briefly thought about it came up with the idea of ​​saving my Memoji from my iPhone as a profile picture in an application that I can open in the browser of my MacBook as well in order to be able to examine the profile picture there using the inspector. Here I will explain to you in three short steps how to get the image file of your Memoji.

  • Step 1: Create Memoji

    First of all, you have to create your Memoji of course. You can do this, for example, in the Messages app and open any conversation there. Within this conversation you can create or edit your Memoji using the following buttons.

  • Step 2: Share Memoji

    Use the following click path on your iPhone or iPad.
    Settings > Messages> Share Name and Photo

  • Step 3: Log into iCloud

    Now you switch to your Mac or PC and go to https://www.icloud.com/ . There you log in and the Memoji you just created should now be displayed as a profile picture.

    You now do a right click with the mouse or a two-finger click on the touchpad of the MacBook and select the menu item "Inspect" in the context menu. In the view that now opens, you can copy the URL of the image file of your Memoji from either the HTML or CSS view and then open it in a new tab.
